H2 is more than ARCHITECTURE. H2 is more than the doubling of the initials. H2 looks back on more than 3 decades of office history and draws on 5 decades of planning experience. H2 is broadly positioned and focuses on the crucial detail.

Our approach has always been interdisciplinary - like our team. We never see ARCHITECTURE in isolation, but always as a connecting element of the structure, specialist planning and open space. This gives us the oppurtunity of finding individual solutions, both small and large. Our spectrum ranges from public construction projects and residential construction to industrial construction and includes both high-quality interior work and large-scale open spaces.

A recurring theme in our work is TRANSFORMATION. We operate in the area of tension between existing buildings and new buildings and use them to develop new conceptual approaches. TRANSFORMATION is also the theme of our office. From his beginnings in structural engineering, Hendrik Heine formed the broad but individual field of activity with strategic and conceptual support from Katja Heine.

Hendrik Heine

• Born in 1976
• 1996-2002 studied architecture at TU Dresden, graduated as Dipl.-Ing.
• 2002-2016 work as project manager
• 2017-2024 partnership with Matthias Reichold
• since 2024 continued as H2 ARCHITEKTUR by hendrik heine
• Member of the Saxony Chamber of Architects
• Activity in all phases of the HOAI of property planning for buildings, open spaces and engineering structures

Katja Heine

• Born in 1977
• 1996 – 1999 studied economics in Dresden, graduating with a degree in business administration
• Worked in tax consulting and auditing firms in Dresden and Freital
• in the office since 2017 in the fields of strategy | conception | controlling | user participation
